ALL THE YOUNG DUUUUDES!!! CARRY THE NEEEWS!!!!Alright, so I put a Mott the Hoople reference in the comic. I realize that Mott the Hoople is a rather obscure band from the 70s and this is an extremely obscure web comic, meaning that there is probably no one reading this comic who knows who or what Mott the Hoople even is. Well, I don’t care. I put a Mott the Hoople reference in the comic and there will be another one by the time this storyline is done. I should probably write an awesome review on Mott the Hoople once I have more time.
Anyway, this joke came from the fact that, after Ben told me he needed some time of, he sent me this picture which he called “Uncle Mott”. I decided to work it into the story and the rest wrote itself from there.
History Lesson for the Day:
Mott the Hoople was a rock band during the late 60s and early 70s. They wrote songs in so many genres of rock that they are hard to classify, but most of there songs had a decidedly glam-rock feel to them, which is why, when the band was about to break up after their unsuccessful but awesome 4th album “Brain Capers”, David Bowie intervened and wrote them the song “All the Young Dudes”, which got them some fame which continued for there following 3 albums. Look them up on Wikipedia!
I know this isn’t really about Ultimate Nerds, but I thought I’d say it anyway.
